Northside Festival. Rising Brooklyn combo Shark? sounds like Adam Green fronting the Pixies having listened to a lot of surf rock on vacation. The band plays with a bunch of other locals, including Darlings, who are stepping into their name and becoming something of an It band on the scene. It must be the short, ultralistenable guitar jams about just-out-of-college subjects like girls, getting evicted, partying and TV.
