Fifteen years after their last album, sophomore effort Seven More Minutes, the Rentals returned with 2014's Lost in Alphaville. Fronted by original Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, the band still has its signature quirky synth-rock sound, and has returned just in time to show the new crop of ’90s-nostalgia acts how alt rock is really done.
