The Shondes + Babe the Blue Ox + Scarce

Odd yet engrossing local quartet the Shondes combines urgent Sleater-Kinney–style punk with klezmer and classical tinges. Also on the bill tonight are dissonant, quirked-out indie-rockers Babe the Blue Ox, first active in the ’90s and still making the occasional NYC appearance.
