"The Solti Centennial Concert"

Eminent maestro Valery Gergiev leads the World Orchestra for Peace in a tribute to late, great conductor Georg Solti during his centennial year with a star-studded event hosted by Lady Solti herself. Big-name opera stars René Pape and Angela Gheorghiu celebrate Solti's operatic past with arias and duets by Mozart and Verdi, along with highlights by musicians from Solti's foundation and academy. It wouldn't be a well-rounded evening without orchestra favorites like Mozart's Overture to The Marriage of Figaro and Strauss's tone poem Don Juan.
