The Songwriter's Orchestra

Led by arranger and conductor Solomon Hoffman, the 12-piece Songwriter's Orchestra fleshes out original songs—often written for piano or guitar—with strings, winds and brass. The August 21 edition features tunes by seven cast members of Broadway's Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, including the estimable trio of Grace McClean, Brittain Ashford and Gelsey Bell.
