The Subdudes

A New Orleans institution, the Subdudes mix Big Easy soul (à la the Nevilles and Alan Toussaint) with roots-rock twang, bayou accordion and maybe a touch of a Grateful Dead vibe. The are responsible for Behind the Levee, one of the corniest post-Katrina albums to come out of their town, and wow, is that saying something.
