A far cry from Medeski Martin & Wood’s groove-jazz improv, bassist Chris Wood’s side project focuses on his older brother’s singing and songwriting. Vocally, the siblings are a match only genetics could muster, as heard on 2011's Smoke Ring Halo. Tonight they hit the LES in support of a new live disc, Live Volume One: Sky High.
