The Canadians grouped as Thee Silver Mt. Zion—the name ebbs and flows—initially seemed a Godspeed You! Black Emperor spin-off, but has long since outgrown that band and even the heavy drone on which they initially pivoted. The new Kollaps Tradixionales, the band's sixth album, is song-based and roaring.
