Theresa Wong: The Unlearning

A gripping, intense and rewarding work, cellist and singer Theresa Wong's The Unlearning takes its lead from Francisco Goya's etchings "The Disasters of War," spinning its livid tone into a heady suite of 21 songs for violin, cello and two voices. Joining Wong in this rare NYC performance, which includes newly commissioned projection art by Daria Martin and Mao Mollona, is her original coconspirator, Tin Hat violinist and sometime vocalist Carla Kihlstedt.
