In addition to trademark cascading synth pads, master sound sculpter Tim Hecker adds manipulated vocals from the Icelandic Choir Ensemble to his textural pallete on his upcoming, Love Streams—a reprisal of-sorts of his interest in the country's liturgical spaces as a creative source (he recorded all of 2010's haunting Ravedeath, 1972 in a Reykjavik church). His atmospheric, tectonically-shifting soundscapes will offer a much-needed cooldown from Dominick "Prurient" Fernow's opening set which is sure to feature the noise-scene bad boy screaming his lungs out amid a howling din of feedback.
