Tom Russell

Even if you don't think you know the work of Texan singer-songwriter Tom Russell, you most likely do; his tunes have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Joe Ely, Nanci Griffith and Guy Clark, and he even published a book of letters with Charles Bukowski. His last album featured members of Calexico, and tonight Russell plugs his newie, Mesabi—a mellow, back-porch collection of songs.
