Tony Malaby and Tamarindo

Saxophonist and Stone guest curator Tony Malaby claims the spotlight tonight, celebrating both his birthday and a fine new CD by his trio Tamarindo. Though the new disc's guest, Wadada Leo Smith, isn't on hand, bassist William Parker and drummer Nasheet Waits will raise a sufficiently joyful noise at 8pm. Malaby plays an unaccompanied set at 10pm.
