Trevor Powers

Trevor Powers is the Boise, ID–based singer, songwriter and producer formally known as Youth Lagoon. He retired that moniker in 2015 and has since been studying classical theory and ancient modes, making music inspired by the works of visual artists like Francis Bacon and Sister Gertrude Morgan and travelling through Europe, Asia and the U.S. writing poetry. The fruits of those endeavors have thus far presented themselves as entrancing glitch-pop tunes brimming with unstable experimental textures. It's hard to think of a better venue to house them than National Sawdust.
