Unsound Festival: True Horizons with Pole + Sun Araw + Inner Tube

The veteran Stefan "Pole" Betke is a reggae-loving German who creates a kind of glitch-dub that fuses deep textures to earthy rhythms; his sound was a big influence on the dubstep scene, at least the half that enjoys a bit of mind expansion now and again. L.A.'s melds dub experimentalism to Afrobeat, drone and more, while Inner Tube, featuring Emeralds' Mark McGuire, makes references to surf rock and ’80s new wave.
