Addictively ominous postpunk trio Vaz, which deftly combines pummeling rhythms and spooky melodies, tops a strong, noisy bill in Williamsburg. Helping to set the stage is Xaddax, a new duo featuring Nick Sakes, formerly of pioneering math-rock outfits Dazzling Killmen and Colossamite.
