Verboten: Soul Clap + Nicolas Jaar

The folks from Flawless take control of the Hotel on Rivington's penthouse (complete with sweeping views of downtown Manhattan) for their Verboten affair, dedicated to top-shelf electronic dance music. Tonight's lineup is killer, with the talented producer Nicolas Jaar and his fellow associates from the Wolf + Lamb family of artists, Boston duo Soul Clap, manning the decks. Both Jaar and Soul Clap work that gray area between house, techno and disco with dexterity, which should make for a session of very groovy rhythms. Memek, Leks and Free Magic complete the lineup.
