The first new LP in five years from Vince Gill, Guitar Slinger, finds the chart-topping country singer and plucker in rowdy form: "Well, I was livin’ the life of a guitar slinger/Womens and wines and whiskey for dinner/Oh, I knew I was in trouble the first time I seen her/I went and married that contemporary Christian singer," he crows on the title track, referring to his real-life second marriage to Amy Grant (who guests on several more cuts).
