Wake Up Madagascar Tour with Jaojoby + Razia Said + Charles Kely + Saramba

Hard as it is to believe, a full 20 years have passed since American guitarists Henry Kaiser and David Lindley issued A World Out of Time, the first in a series of Shanachie CDs that introduced Western listeners to the joyous popular music of Madagascar. Now, expat vocalist Razia Said shines a light on a new bumper crop of Madagascan stars, including brilliant singer Eusèbe Jaojoby and guitarist Charles Kely, in a tour meant to raise awareness of illegal logging in the island nation. This one's guaranteed to be soul-stirring on multiple levels.
