Walkin' and Swingin': The Life of Mary Lou

Mary Lou Williams, who would have turned 100 years old last year, gets her due in this program honoring her career as a pianist, arranger, bandleader and teacher. Director Carol Bash will screen footage from her upcoming documentary about Williams, The Lady Who Swings the Band, and participate in panel discussing the jazz maven's legacy.
