White Lies + Vowws

Brit band White Lies draws heavily on the melancholic postpunk sounds of Editors and Interpol, but with professed pop aspirations—as seen on some of the giddier numbers on last year's Friends. The trio hits NYC with support from Australian-Iranian no-wavey duo Vowws.
