WHY? + Naytronix + The Black Swans

Oakland's WHY? has ties to the alt-hip-hop scene, but really the group is a quirked-up, tripped-out indie-pop outfit whose frontman, Yoni Wolf, just happens to boast respectable rhyming skills. The crew has a stellar new EP, Sod in the Seed, with its fifth full-length in the works. Naytronix (the solo project of Nate Brenner of Tune-Yards) and folk-rock trio the Black Swans are on opening duties.
