Northside Festival. Local troupe Real Estate has planted its flag in early VU territory, full of great intros and heady hums—stoned summertime music, in other words. Woods’ lazily funky drums and fuzz-fried guitars, along with singer Jeremy Earl’s falsetto hoot, summon the nocturnal forest eeriness of Twin Peaks, '70s slasher films and Where the Wild Things Are.
