X: Los Angeles

X is typically classified as a punk band, but that term doesn't do justice to how stylish, incisive and well-oiled the L.A. outfit's formative releases were. Here the quartet (currently boasting all original members, thanks very much) revisits those salad days, running down its 1980 debut, Los Angeles, in toto and screening its 1986 rockumentary, The Unheard Music.
