Yellowbirds + Landlady

Boston project Yellowbirds, comprising Sam Cohen from Apollo Sunshine, plays thick orchestral pop tinged with shades of country. Cohen swings by the Merc Lounge tonight to play from his latest CD, Songs from the Vanished Frontier, in the company of Adam Schatz's latest foray, Landlady, a quirky indie-rock outfit that features interesting organ and guitar interplay.
