Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.

Even if Yo La Tengo’s sound weren’t cozier than a warm sweater, its annual Eight Nights of Hanukkah would be a major event if only for the surprise guest talent. Last year, Jeff Tweedy, Nick Lowe, Sun Ra Arkestra members and others performed with the tireless trio, which, as usual, learned a ton of fun covers to make each of the nights a totally unique experience.

In 2017, the group brought back the shows after a five year hiatus, finding a new home at the Bowery Ballroom after its base for more than a decade—Maxwell’s in Hoboken—sadly closed. Here's hoping they stick around for a bunch more.
