YOB + Dark Castle + Batillus

Mounted by the ever-reliable Blackened Music Series, this titanic bill brings back to town YOB, an Oregon doom-metal trio whose massive dirges have grown ever more majestic during its recent association with the crucial Profound Lore label. Atma, due out in August, is a serious contender for any year-end list. Florida death-metal band Dark Castle and crushingly heavy local outfit Batillus round out the bill.
