Yuri Yunakov + Zikrayat + The Maendros Ensemble

Best known as sidekick to Bulgarian-wedding-music clarinet legend Ivo Papasov, saxman Yuri Yunakov is not so bad in his own right—as in, this guy is effin' a-may-zing and will surely whip this free Lincoln Center party into a frenzy. An Arabic ensemble from Long Island City, Zikrayat opens the afternoon with a celebration of the Egyptian movie musical and the art of Middle Eastern dance. Look lively!
