If your idea of a spring refresh includes aura cleansing and art appreciation, head straight to the Lower East Side, where the IXIM Crystal Co-Lab is now open—and it’s got a spiritual heavyweight at the center of it all. The buzzy wellness platform just unveiled its first-ever gallery takeover, a dazzling fusion of crystals, contemporary design and mind-body alignment that could make even the most jaded New Yorker pause for energetic recalibration.
The headliner is “Biktor,” an absolutely bonkers, 8-foot-tall, 5,000-pound Cathedral Quartz that looks like it was forged for the final boss in a fantasy film. Monumental both in size and rarity, it’s among the largest known examples of its kind and is being shown publicly for the first time outside an institutional setting. It’s one-part geological marvel, one-part cosmic antenna—and it anchors a full exhibition that blends art installation, wellness ritual and metaphysical mood lighting.

“Each element in this space is intentionally designed to deepen one's connection with the earth and self,” founder and curator Mayra Hernández said in a release. “We honor crystals not just as objects of beauty and work of art by Mother Earth, but as guides for personal and collective transformation.”
Running through June 30 in the former ProxyCo Gallery space at 121 Orchard Street, the Crystal Co-Lab coincides with New York Art Week and features more than a dozen massive crystals curated with specific energetic intentions. Among them: a 7-foot Lemurian Quartz nicknamed “Mini Vic,” thought to heighten intuition; “Moli,” a towering amethyst believed to spark spiritual clarity; and “Kameni,” a hulking Black Tourmaline revered for its grounding force.

The experience doesn’t end at staring slack-jawed at gorgeous rocks, either. IXIM’s programming includes sound meditations, astro-aligned print art (with embedded QR codes) and events with visiting artists and wellness experts, including collaborations with Mexico City-based Sten Studio and fashion-meets-spirituality brand La Double J.
The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm. Whether you believe in crystals' metaphysical mojo or simply want to see a mineral that weighs more than a car, this is one NYC pop-up that genuinely rocks.
