This Halloween, New York’s most stylish pups are getting their own haunted playground. The Farmer’s Dog is hosting its first-ever Treat Street, a four-day, citywide celebration that culminates in a Halloween parade and costume contest at Washington Square Park on Saturday, October 25.

Running October 23–26, the canine trick-or-treating extravaganza will transform parks across the city into a tail-wagging version of Halloween Village, with themed “haunted dog houses,” photo ops and, of course, lots of treats. The brand will be introducing its new Snap Sticks, “science-backed treats that solve the trick behind treating,” designed to keep dogs happy without packing on the pounds.

The event kicks off on Thursday at Chelsea Waterside Park, continues Friday at Union Square and lands in Washington Square Park on Saturday from 9am to 4pm. The main parade will start at noon.

Expect a spectacle of corgis dressed as witches, doodles in pumpkin suits and more than a few hot dogs that are, well, actual dogs. The festivities wrap up on Sunday at Domino Park in Williamsburg.

Each stop will feature delightfully spooky setups like the Boneyard Bungalow and Howl’-o-Lantern, a “pawtography” station by @nycstreetdogs and a chance for pups to sample the new treats as they go door-to-door—er, booth-to-booth. In partnership with Waldo’s Rescue, 10 adoptable dogs will also be on-site, looking for forever homes (and maybe a few extra snacks).

The highlight of Treat Street will be Saturday’s Halloween Parade and Costume Contest. The grand prize winner will walk away with a year of free fresh food from The Farmer’s Dog and a swag-filled gift package. Early birds get rewarded, too—the first 100 dogs to register at Washington Square Park receive a free treat bag.

New customers can also score a Halloween deal: 50% off their first order, plus free treats. Because in a city where every dog has its day, this one’s shaping up to be a howling good time.
