A poop-themed pop-up shop is coming to NYC

For those of us who regularly wander around Manhattan searching desperately for a bathroom, we're in for a true relief: an immersive “poop-up” experience is coming to the Lower East Side later this month, and guests are welcome—nay, encouraged—to relieve themselves in splendor.

In what is turning out to be the true crossover event of the century, luxury bathroom brands Tushy and Poo-Pourri are teaming up for a full-scale experience. Tushy manufactures tiny, user-friendly bidets that work with nearly any toilet; only my fanciest of Grindr hookups have 'em. The company is a project of Miki Agrawal, the founder and former CEO of women’s hygiene underwear brand Thinx. And if you've listened to any podcast over the last year, you'll know Poo-Pourri as the spray that makes bad bowel smells go away.

Starting Wednesday, May 30 and running through Sunday, June 3, the "poop-up" will feature a toilet-shaped ball pit with poop emoji balls, a disco port-a-potty photo booth, a scent bar and, of course, a fabulously stocked commode where you can try out the products for real. For once in your miserable life, you won't have to sneak into that Whole Foods bathroom without a code!

Check out the poop-up at 208 Bowery on May 30. You can check for updates on the @hellotushy twitter.
