It's a glorious time for fans of the Bluth family. On May 29, Netflix drops the long-awaited fifth season of Arrested Development, following last week’s release of a re-edited version of season four that's actually pretty damn good. In anticipation of the return of America's second-most catastrophic real estate dynasty, Netflix is throwing a “Never Nudes Blitz” on Saturday, May 19 in Washington Square Park and Central Park.
The cult celebration honors the legacy of David Cross’ fictional thespian, author, analrapist, Blue Man understudy and anustart, Tobias Fünke, who belongs to an nudity-fearing community of Never Nudes.
“Blue yourself” or show up in denim cutoffs for the bizarre meet up, which takes place at Washington Square North from noon–12:30pm, followed by a second gathering at the Mall in Central Park from 3:30–4pm. More impromptu Never Nude gatherings will go down throughout the day, so be sure to check the @ArrestedDev Twitter page for updates. We're not sure what Netflix has cooking for the big day, but we can assume that the Bluth stair car will be driving around to promote the clan’s “Family of the Year” campaign.
