If you’ve ever wanted to step out of Hawkins for a night and into a room with the people who made it, here’s your chance. The Paley Museum will close out the year with an event tailor-made for anyone who’s been counting down to the final season of Stranger Things: a screening and conversation with the cast on December 18 at its midtown headquarters, all part of the museum’s 50th anniversary festivities.

The evening will begin with the final episode from Volume One, followed by a Comic Con fever dream-worthy line-up. You can expect creators Matt and Ross Duffer, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Jamie Campbell Bower and David Harbour to be there. (Phew.) Perri Nemiroff from Collider will moderate.

If you need a refresher on where the story picks up, here it is: the last season of the show jumps to the fall of 1987. Hawkins hasn’t bounced back from the whole Rifts-opening situation, the government is hunting Eleven again and Vecna has pulled a disappearing act. The gang’s mission is simple in theory—find Vecna and kill him—but the forces working against the characters aren’t as polite as season one’s Demogorgons.

The screening-and-chat format isn’t the only draw. Attendees will also have a chance to win a Stranger Things keepsake. Given the expected demand, the museum has introduced a staggered ticket rollout. Paley members will have first crack starting tomorrow, December 3, with additional member tiers opening on Friday, December 5. The general public can buy in starting on December 10. (Historically, Paley events sell out with monster-like speed, so this is not one to procrastinate over.)

If you want to make a month of it, the museum’s December programming is generally stacked: the schedule includes a special screening of The Beatles: Anthology – Episode One, an evening with Bob Costas and an inside look at season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. PaleyLand, complete with Santa, characters, crafts and a charming train display, is also running through January 4, 2026.

Volume 1 of Stranger Things’ fifth season is streaming now, Volume 2 drops on Christmas Day and the finale arrives on New Year’s Eve.
