It's been just over two years since our one true Prince moved on to a higher plane, and in the remaining time NYC has continuously toasted his cultural legacy with dance parties, concerts and more screenings of Purple Rain than you can count. In September, fan appreciation for the fallen icon goes to the next level with 4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince, an orchestral performance of the Purple One's music held at Kings Theater in Brooklyn.

Officially authorized by the Prince estate, this concert pairs crowd-pleasers and B-sides from Prince's 39 studio album-discography with a full symphony orchestra, live band and vocalists. Apparently, Questlove has had a hand in the arrangements. Can we hope for a violin-accompanied rendition of "Cream" or "Batdance"?

The concert goes down September 20 at 7:30pm at Kings Theater. If you haven't checked out the space yet, it's gorgeous. Tickets are $59–$99. Get on it now!
