If your dream comedy lineup looks something like Jon Stewart, Nikki Glazer, Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle and Pete Davidson sharing one stage, you're in luck. One of the biggest comedy events of the year is coming to Madison Square Garden this September—and it's all for a good cause.
“NYC Still Rising After 25 Years: A 9/11 Charities Comedy Benefit” will take over the Garden on Thursday, September 10, marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks with an all-star night of stand-up. (Because few things heal the soul after a tragedy quite like laughter and connection.) Stewart and Davidson will join forces again after launching the original NYC Still Rising benefit in 2021 for the attacks' 20th anniversary, which featured a roster including John Mulaney, Amy Schumer, Jimmy Fallon, Wanda Sykes and Michael Che.
This year, alongside Stewart and Davidson, audiences can expect performances from Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, Ronny Chieng, Nikki Glaser and Josh Johnson, with organizers promising even more surprise guests to be announced before showtime. Proceeds from the event will benefit 9/11 charities.

The benefit carries particular significance for both hosts. Davidson's father, FDNY firefighter Scott Davidson, was tragically killed while responding to the attacks on September 11, 2001. Stewart, meanwhile, has spent years advocating for health care and compensation for 9/11 first responders and survivors, helping lead the successful push to reauthorize the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and the World Trade Center Health Program.
"We look forward to once again celebrating this great city's tenacity, resilience and championship heart—and we don't only mean our NY Knicks," Stewart and Davidson said in a joint statement.
This will be a device-free special (meaning no cameras, tablets, laptops, smart watches or Bluetooth-enabled headphones will be allowed inside the event, with small devices like cell phones secured inside locked Yondr pouches upon arrival), so you'll be able to focus solely on the occasion.
