If you’ve ever closed down Marquee at 4 am and stumbled out into Chelsea daylight, brace yourself: The legendary nightclub is back—and looking sharper than ever. After its third full renovation in just over two decades, Marquee New York has reopened this month with a whole new look, a stacked lineup of superstar DJs and the same thumping energy that’s kept it a fixture of NYC nightlife since 2003.
The redesign, created in collaboration with Jack Hotho, has gutted the space from top to bottom. Think moodier vibes—dark oak, subtle purple accents and a glow-up for the dance floor—plus an upgraded LED system and immersive visuals made for today’s content-hungry crowd. It’s a fresh, music-first atmosphere that still nods to the club’s original DNA.
The line-up is basically a who’s who of electronic heavyweights: Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Oliver Heldens, Francis Mercier, Elderbrook, Chris Lorenzo and more are already locked in to christen the new Marquee. For longtime fans, it’s a chance to relive those marathon nights; for first-timers, it’s proof the club is still where the beat drops hardest.

“Marquee has always been synonymous with energy, music and unforgettable moments,” said Noah Tepperberg, the co-CEO of Tao Group Hospitality. “It’s more than a nightclub, it’s a cultural touchpoint that’s evolved with the times while staying rooted in the pulse of nightlife.”
Jason Strauss, also co-CEO of Tao Group, added: “We’ve reimagined Marquee New York to deliver next-level experiences that reflect the future of nightlife. From design to technology to service, every element has been thoughtfully considered to raise the bar once again.”
While all eyes are on Chelsea for now, the Marquee brand isn’t stopping there—its sister property in Las Vegas will debut its own makeover this October. But for New Yorkers, the homecoming is the headline: a reinvented Marquee that promises to feel both familiar and completely new, ready to keep the city dancing well past sunrise.
