That’s right, Sex and the City fans: Sarah Jessica Parker's permanent NYC storefront hawking her SJP designer collection opens tomorrow, and, much like the pop-up, it looks like the shoe closet out of Carrie Bradshaw’s dreams. The luxurious and timeless kicks range from heels to booties, and they are all handcrafted in Italy. If a pair of fancy pumps isn’t in the budget right now, your incentive to attend the opening is this: A chance to meet SJP!
Line up before 11am to enjoy MELT ice cream sandwiches while you wait to see the star-slash-designer in the flesh. She will only be there for a limited amount of time, so you better show up early. Coincidentally, this event is happening on the same day as her SATC co-star Cynthia Nixon is running for governor. If you're registered to vote, just remember to hit those polls tomorrow, too!
Granted, opening a shoe store the same day as Nixon's primary election is a very Carrie move. During the shop's debut, we can't help but wonder if Parker will utter, “Meanwhile, in Albany, Miranda was putting her foot into something entirely different.”
