A-yurt the media!

The garden of The Standard East Village has transformed into a pine paradise with the return of its annual Tree Market sponsored by Crest Hardware and the hotel's five cozy (and downright chic) Alpine yurts. Talk about #HyggeGoals!

Inside the makeshift tents, groups of 4 to 12 people can order a decadent fondue spread that comes with all the fixings including apples, figs, toasted hazelnuts, parmigiano-reggiano, saucisson sec, potatoes, apples, house pickles, pears and more. Warm cocktails, including mulled red wine and hot cider, are also served to keep you extra toasty.

You need not worry about being cold as there are faux fur coats for you and your pals to don while feasting, too. Oh, and a shot of Aquavit down the pipe (given at the end of the meal) should really set your soul on fire.

Perfect for a holiday gathering of friends or coworkers, make your yurt reservation now (and only) by emailing wintergarden@standardhotels.com. The price is $65 per person and an additional $35 for a pot of booze.
