The three things you need to know today in New York: Mon May 21

1. Party with puppies on a midtown rooftop today. Sky Room is hosting the event, which will have a two-hour open bar, and proceeds will support the North Shore Animal League America.

2. Take the Central Park Tour to learn the secrets of New York’s biggest green space. It starts at 2pm at Fifth Avenue and 61st Street. 

3. Attend the Pop-up Magazine event at David Geffen Hall tonight. This iteration of the showcase will have actors, comedians and filmmakers.
