The three things you need to know today in New York: Wed June 13

1. Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center today. For just one week, the company will perform new numbers as well as the famed Revelations.

2. Go see The Decemberists at Prospect Park Bandshell tonight. The outdoor concert will feature hits from its latest album, I'll Be Your Girl.

3. The free show Better Days Comedy starts at 9pm this evening. Head to Lower East Side venue Better Days to catch it.
