This modern Asian lounge and cocktail bar is located in Lond Island’s Astoria.You’ll find an architectural interior that includes a light wood ceiling, angular tables and hanging bulb lights akin to a scattering of stars. The decor leans more towards the refined yet minimal, with deep forest green fabrics, velvet upholstery and a light addition of flora. Coloured and neon lighting creates a more prevelant aesthetic in the evening.
1 Degree Up’s menu covers small plates, sides, mains, soups, salads, specialst rice and noodles and desserts. The dishes are meat and seafood-centric, including the likes of kung pao chicken or shrimp, five spice rubbed breast of duck and Mongolian barbeque loin lamb chop. Happy hour is long and runs from Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 3:30am, and incudes cocktails and house drinks on a two-for-one basis. Hookah is available on request.
