Horribly run business. True, they aren't owned by the same person anymore. But they aren't even open PERIOD. For the time being the restaurant focuses solely on online orders only. The "staff" consists of a mere 2 line cooks and a dishwasher. The actual owner is hardly ever present on the premise itself. Dacha (the former restaurant) was sold to its current owner who decided to change the business towards an organic food oriented market. All in all this place isn't anything special.
I purchased a certificate with dacha through pulsd.com approximately 5 weeks ago. Seemed like a great deal, but.... I tried to use my voucher tonight and found out that Dacha is no longer in business. Yet, when I used the menupages link to "make a reservation," I was redirected to Modern Organic (on opentables.com). Same exact venue. Although the host claims they are not owned by the same people, I question how the Dacha link mysteriously connects to Modern Organic. Not to mention the fact that the host told me that she can "assure me" that they are not the same owners, because she also worked for the Dacha owners. Yet, she now works for the Modern Organic owners? So, they kept the same staff? Seems to me that Dacha and Modern Organic are owned by the same people. So...when I tried to use my voucher, a mere 5 weeks after purchase, I could not because the restaurant "no longer accepts the pulsd certificate" and is "owned by different people." I call bull sh*t. This place is a total scam, as is Modern Organic. Steer clear and avoid purchasing any certificates from either one!
