A Taste of Fifth 2020
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.
A Taste of Fifth, Park Slope's annual block party and tasting event that was happening April 1 is cancelled.
"We regret having to take this step but our concern is for the safety and well-being of our community, businesses and partners - and their respective workers," Mark Caserta, executive director of the Park Slope 5th Avenue BID said. "All tickets have already been refunded. We also want to encourage everyone to continue to safely support our restaurants and bars.
"Because we don't want our 16 charities to lose out, we've made it easy for people who still want to donate. During disasters like this, it's the local charities that get hit the hardest. We certainly hope folks will help out by going to the Park Slope 5th Avenue website and clicking on this link to make a contribution. The BID will award the top-earning nonprofit an additional $500."
