Time Out says

This neighborhood gem has been showing up better-known Upper West Side bagel establishments for years, serving freshly boiled bagels in their most perfect form. A respectable array of toppings includes cream cheeses (strawberry, jalapeño, bacon-cheddar) and nine different flavors of Tofutti (sun-dried tomato, walnut raisin), plus deli meats, salads and silky smoked fish — but trust us, all 16 bagel varieties here taste just fine by themselves.

I live down the block from this place and have tried it on a few occasions. Bagels/carbs is my favorite food group and I like to think I know my bagels. Honestly, this place seems VERY overrated to me. It is a good bagel don't get me wrong, but the best in the city? Eh. Their bagels are fresh, soft and good, but if you want the best in the city my personal favorite will always be Brooklyn Bagel Company.

Lived a block away growing up and I have so many memories of waiting in line for bagels with my dad on the weekend. Also the bagels happen to be AMAZING and soft and fluffy!!!
