Gotta love a great brunch! Had Sunday brunch here awhile back with some of my girlfriends in Greenpoint. Anella was recommended by one of my foodie friends who lives in Greenpoint, so I trusted her judgement. I ordered the Fried Chicken Biscuit is pictured below with a really delicious cole slaw. They have some great specialty cocktails as well. We enjoyed a lavender infused sparkling white wine. Overall a great experience and I hear the menu changes so I'm going to head back soon to try their winter dishes!
Anella is a great neighborhood spot in Greenpoint. The menu changes seasonally, but is always amazing. For dinner, the pastas are my personal favorite, but they have fantastic seasonal dishes, like their porkchop in the winter and fish in the summer. They also have amazing bread that is individually baked and delivered to your table in a flower pot. For brunch, I highly recommend the egg biscuit – vegetarian or with meat. That biscuit rivals the best southern restaurants in NYC. If you’re dining in the summer, the back garden is a must. It’s completely covered so it’s ok even with a little rain.
