Arco Cafe
Sebastiano Cappitta (Acqua, Isola) is behind this 42-seat Sardinian café. On the menu: lasagna-meets-casserole zuppa gallurese; house-made cannelloni with béchamel sauce; and pane frattau, a poached-egg-topped thin bread with tomato sauce. Native Italian grapes like moscato and vermentino are highlighted on the trim wine list.

Funnily enough, my only experiences with Arco Cafe are having ordered their delivery – I have not yet eaten on location myself. However, I would contend that it is almost more difficult to deliver a high quality eating experience via delivery order, and this is where Arco really grabbed my attention. I ordered their Gnocchi alla Montanara which had mushrooms and pancetta in a light cream sauce - basically all of my favorite foods in one dish. It was positively delectable – a rich meal, perfect for the indulgent night-in I was enjoying. I paired with my own wine for a relaxing dinner. I also ordered the Caprese Salad as a post-meal palate cleanser. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. I look forward to not only ordering from them again, but also visiting the restaurant itself.
