The organic-patty–pushing chain rolls out a 14th outpost. Grab a stool at the reclaimed-steel counter for combos like the Big Blue Bacon (Wisconsin blue, fried onions and bacon marmalade) or the Habanero Express (pepper jack, poblano pepper, habanero-chipotle mayo). Each burger comes with your choice of protein (grass-fed beef, buttermilk-fried chicken, ostrich) and bread (brioche, wheat-flour wrap, tapioca-rice bun). Round out your meal with sides like butter pickle chips and house-made Carolina slaw, an all-natural shake (peanut butter, raspberry) or a local brew (Sixpoint, Ommegang).

With several locations across the city, you are bound to run into a Bareburger in your daily travels. All menu items are organic and anything fried is cooked in 100% non GMO canola oil. You can choose from beef, bison, turkey, wild boar and duck burgers. They have two delicious veggie burgers as well. The Wheat berry chickpea salad is delicious with crunchy red wheat berries, feta cheese, and marinated green chickpeas. The Guadalupe veggie burger made up of black beans, pickled red onions, feta cheese, and is served on a sprout bun. Make sure you save room for one of their amazing cream sandwiches.
