This Los Angeles–based Korean chain planted its first NYC outpost in K-town, adding another solid, affordable, all-night option to the bustling strip. Though the soaring dining room is perfumed by barbecue sizzling on tabletop grills, the specialty here is fresh tofu. Try the silken variety in the excellent soondubu: a gurgling tofu stew packed with proteins (pork, beef, seafood) or vegetables (kimchi, soybeans) and served with sides of radishes, pickles and hunks of fried fish. Also available are numerous solid Korean classics, including a hearty egg-crowned bibimbap and cold, spicy vermicelli noodles (bi bim naeng myun) strewn with kimchi and sliced beef.
