Chilled out spot Bean’s & Lager is a kitchen and bar in the heart of Astoria. The spot contains a full coffee house as well as a large, 30-foot bar with two-dozen varieties of craft beer on tap and served by the bottle.
The food is Medittarenean-inspired, which means that the menu features a few European classics such as grilled octopus, risotto fritters and gnocchi, but is also stuffed-full of relaxed, cafe dishes such as omelets, bisques and even chicken wings.
Entertainment comes in the form of weekly comedy (every Wednesday) and live Jazz every second Thursday. You can also expect a scattering of live variety shows throughout the year and the Bean’s & Lager private spaces are available for booking.
