Empire builder Danny Meyer expands to Battery Park City with this offshoot of his popular Flatiron barbecue house. The menu of hearty eats includes signature dishes, like St. Louis spareribs and Memphis baby backs, plus three new bar snacks: pickled ruby red shrimp with fennel, sweet onion and coriander; smoky pork rinds with malt vinegar and smoked sea salt; and Berkshire pork belly sliders with poblano jelly and North Carolina salt peanuts. Patriotic drinkers will find a robust selection of American craft brews on ten taps, bolstered by 50 bottles, and more than 30 bourbons and whiskeys.
