This swank subterranean lounge goes deeper than the standard-issue Asian and Italian restaurants clustered on this block. The bar and sushi bar, tricked out in white Lucite, are backlit with changing colored lights, making your plate suddenly turn into a dinner of a different color. Snack on smoked oysters with lemongrass or spicy-sour lobster soup. You can also fill up on duck in yellow curry or a seasonal special of soft-shell crabs covered in basil sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and roasted garlic cloves. For a pretheater dinner with a side of cool, Bluechili is just the ticket.
